Sharing

Share your music with others via link or social media.

Every notation has a unique, shareable URL.

  1. Open your notation
  2. Click the Share button (share icon)
  3. Click Copy Link

The link looks like: noteshift.ai/m/abc123...

What Others See​

When someone opens your share link:

  • They see the notation with playback controls
  • They can play the music
  • They can view (but not edit) the sheet music
  • They don't need a Noteshift account

Social Sharing​

Share directly to social platforms:

  • Twitter/X - Opens with a pre-filled post and link
  • Facebook - Opens the Facebook share dialog
  • WhatsApp - Opens WhatsApp with the link

Privacy​

Shared notations are:

  • Public - Anyone with the link can view
  • Not listed - Links aren't discoverable via search
  • Editable by owner - Only you can modify the original

If you don't want a piece to be accessible, don't share the link. There's currently no way to make a shared link private again (the UUID would need to change).

Pro Plus: Whitelabel Sharing​

Pro Plus subscribers get whitelabel sharing:

  • Share links don't show Noteshift branding
  • Clean, professional presentation
  • Great for teachers sharing with students
