Export PDF

Download your notation as a professional PDF file for printing or sharing.

How to Export

  1. Open your notation in the Edit Studio
  2. Click the Export PDF button (download icon)
  3. The PDF downloads to your device

PDF Contents

The exported PDF includes:

  • Title - From the notation header
  • Sheet music - Full notation with proper formatting
  • Page breaks - Automatically placed for multi-page pieces

Multi-Voice Exports

For pieces with multiple parts (duets, ensembles):

The export dialog offers options:

  • Full Score - All parts on one PDF, as displayed
  • Individual Parts - Separate PDFs for each instrument

Individual parts are useful for:

  • Giving each musician their own part
  • Printing cleaner, less cluttered pages
  • Rehearsal with just your part

The PDF is formatted for standard letter paper (8.5" x 11"). For best results:

  1. Open the PDF in your preferred viewer
  2. Select Print (Ctrl/Cmd + P)
  3. Set scale to 100% or Fit to page
  4. Print on white paper for best legibility

Tips

  • Export after finalizing all edits
  • The PDF reflects exactly what you see on screen
  • For ensemble pieces, export both full score and parts
  • PDFs can be shared via email, cloud storage, etc.
